So besides the fact that pretty much every band these days has a name that sounds like a Kate Wolf lyric, there are some good things coming out. I’ve been super into sludgy folk psych (uhhh, like everyone else) and if anyone wants to start a band with me, let me know. I HAVE A TAMBOURINE.

i had a bizzare dream a few days ago inspired by listening to devendra banhardt music for 6 hours with babyboss over the course of one afternoon. i want to be in a velvetundergroundish-like band, as the tambourine girl/ singer, although i have neither instrument or voice.

I wonder if you and Richard Wayne would make some beautiful music, he has been aching to have a band again… You should check out some of his stuff on evil space, just search, “Richard Wayne and the Vainest Knives.” He was also in a band when I first met him called, “Curses!” which seems very much like something you would be into too- it was love songs and pirate ships wrapped up in neck scarves and lore.
