Arriving home from Seattle, I was showered with presents. Hooray!!! Ok, not really showered, but I did get some super fantastic mail. I feel spoiled and grateful! Gratefully spoiled! (And reminded how many parcels I owe people too! Eeee.)

The first parcel was from the incredibly thoughtful Nath — wrapped in tissue paper in my most favorite color!

IMG_2987– this amazing hormone balancing tea, which I have never seen. It’s delicious and I should bring it to drink since I shouldn’t be drinking coffee! Is the tea a UK only thing, maybe? Either way, rose tea of all kinds is my fave, and even better if it can help with health-things. I haven’t mentioned it here but I have to have surgery over the winter holidays for a large fibroid cyst. Meh! So this tea is perfect.

The brooch is darling and I want to wear it on sashes wrapped around my waist!

A few days after that, this book from Cyndemouse arrived. Chock-ful of homesteading tips and wonder!! (By the way, check out the amazing hot pants she made on her Etsy!)

Someone tucked this list of VERMONT property listings in it, too. (!!!!) I need to go back in time and buy the old house with 40 acres in Woodstock, VT for 158K in 1980 – worth a few million now!

Annnnnd, a few days after THAT, I was given this amazing enamel, gold, and pearl mourning ring from 1876 by the ever dreamy Professor. It’s so so so magical and even has a little nook in the back for hair hiding. Eeeeee. I’d spent the whole day reading this book, so of course I excitedly said “MAYBE THEY DIED OF CHOLERA.” There is something wrong with me.

P.S. Cake. This was amazing – ganache and caramel. I need to stop eating sugar and wheat because my bellens hurts all the time. So I’m just going to look at this and pretend I’m still eating it. Ok!
