tiny escapes

A pretty dang relaxing weekend – we’re going through some CRAZY stress right now & are trying to relax when we can.

Rosemary eggs scrambled with goat cheese and roasted tomates – we miss La Note!

Thrift find.

A mid-century antique shop in the wilderness?

And then we drove by this. & yes, we’re going to go back. For lunch, or maybe sleigh rides.

This gorgeous shop has everything you would not expect to find in the middle of nowhere.

& hand me down stove.

My mom has absolutely perfected gluten free shortbread. I have now eaten 3 slices. Oh dear.

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend. We’re ticking off the days til the Thanksgiving holiday! Whew!

  1. I love how even though you’re going through a stressful period you choose to destress all of us by taking us away with your gorgeous photos. Without sounding like I’m just spitting off good news. Things will calm down…after all things can only be crazy for a time before the good boots it out.

  2. This post is really delightful. I love Littleton, and the Mt. Washington Hotel. Did you go through Bethlehem? There is a neat vintage/antique store there, 3 of Cups.

  3. Ah!!! So awesome. Glad yall are sneaking in some down time. Rob grew up going to Squam Lake in the summers so spent a lot of time in Sandwich. And the cabin he built last year is in Littleton, seriously like 10 minutes from downtown!! Let’s go there next time I’m up there!
