I’m really into the 1920’s seaside resort vibe hitting the shops right now.

Tant pis, I’m stuck in a polar vortex. A girl can dream, though, and count down the days until Palm Springs.

  1. WOW that necklace is gorgeous – but I made the mistake of checking the price :)

I know you typically go somewhere warm during winter – do you shop for beach clothes/swimwear during the cold months? I’ve been wanting to get excited about a few new items to take on my upcoming trip but I’ve been frustrated trying to find them in January. All the good clearance deals are outlier sizes!

    1. We go to Palm Springs every year because Sean grew up there and he needs to see his mom! I did just buy a few summery things on clearance / at outlets knowing that I can wear them there. I thrift like CRAZY in Palm Springs for winter clothes – people move / overpack and leave them, and then no one buys them there. It’s the best! Mostly I just thrift, I rarely buy new things (though I did order a Seafolly bathing suit I like a lot from Amazon.)

Have an amazing time in Chile!

  2. 1920s Beach wear foreverrrrr! I want everything! I just went to order a pair of those kaleidoscope glasses, because, ummmmm, TORTOISESHELL!!! so much nicer than the candy pink ones I’ve been wanting for a while now and they don’t ship to Canada! Boooooooo! I’m so bummed!

Have fun in the sun for me while I’m sad and cold in the Canadian deep freeze!
